We are aware that the environment where our employees live and work significantly influences the success of Black & Decker. Therefore, our company decided to establish a donor-advised fund to support publicly beneficial activities carried out in the territory of the District of Ústí nad Labem.

CDL SYSTEM Fund

The CDL SYSTEM fund was established by a member of the Foundation's Board of Directors and the co-owner of CDL SYSTEM a.s. rolled into one as early as in 2007. The development of both our Foundation and NGOs carrying out activities that the company's employees are involved in are supported from financial means added to it on an annual basis.

HENNLICH Fund

In 2005, Hennlich Industrietechnik, spol. s r.o. established the charitable Hennlich Fund, the basic programme of which is named "Litoměřice - live city jsi ty" and focuses on supporting the activities of 15-25 year olds in the District of Litoměřice.

KS Kolbenschmidt CZ Fund

We have been cooperating with KS Kolbenschmidt Czech Republic, a.s. (formerly Metal Ústí n.L., a.s. until 2007) since as early as 1994. It is therefore no wonder that it this company established its very first charitable fund at our foundation in 2003.

Miroslav Dušánek Fund

The family of Miroslav Dušánek, a blind person who managed to live a well-rounded life despite his handicap, decided to honour his memory by establishing a charitable fund. Financial means will be annually distributed from the Miroslav Dušánek Fund to support visually impaired people.

NIF Fund

The NIF is the basic building block of our foundation. It was exclusively established from and comprised of contributions from the Foundation Investment Fund (Nadační investiční fond, NIF). It was legally established in 1991, pursuant to a decision made by the Czech National Council undertaking to designate 1 % of revenues from the second wave of the voucher privatization to support the NGO sector. In 1998, a decision was made to distribute NIF among selected Czech foundations. The government announced competitive tendering for grants to be made from NIF. Our foundation was successful in both competitive tendering rounds and received the total sum of 36,752,150 CZK from NIF, which was added to the Foundation's endowment.

Pavla and Pavel Redlich Fund

He was a beekeeper; she was a member of various cultural societies. A fund established in 2008 in memory of this brother and sister, Pavel and Pavla Redlich, focuses on development of beekeeping and reconstructions of minor cultural monuments.

Open Grant-Making Fund

Dozens of donors, from both local companies and individuals, annually make contributions to the Open Grant-Making Fund. Thanks to this generous support, it is possible to support dozens of local NGOs from the Fund in total amounts that often exceed half a million CZK. Revenues from the NIF are also annually transferred to the Open Grant-Making Fund and subsequently distributed from it.

Renaissance scholarship Fund
